Debbie's story:
"'One Lord, One Faith, One Baptism,' Out of the Mouth of Babes" is based upon children's answers when I taught Sunday School every week in my early days of teaching.
The children would be so excited with their answers, and their replies would make me laugh as they were so serious.
As soon as I felt the Lord move upon me to write this book, I have received reactions from my nieces, and great nieces, and great nephews as well.
My desire of my heart to write this book began when I have returned to teach children after an extended absence from teaching Sunday School.
My friends, Pastor Antony and Sister Lorraine asked me to care for the nursery during services so members of their congregation may be in service. I reminisced as I was praying how I should present the class.
Children are fun, and a blessing, even though God did not give me the blessing of children in form of little bodies, He gave the blessing to me in the form of little hearts in other family's children.
Special recognition to two of my nieces with special needs, Sydnee and Tawnaca. Tawnaca gives her testimony how God heals her brain.
My fun niece, Katelyn, who gives amazing and thought provoking answers for just about any topic, answered my questions given by my brother. She answered the questions with quick wit.
A set of my twin nephews “Hank” and “Carl” will be featured in my upcoming book, “’Praise and Worship,’ Out of the Mouth of Babes.”
The story is included in my book "Praise Him in the Dance." The book will have eleven more stories and testimonies.
I grew up in a military family with five siblings in the
Pacific Northwest, settling in a tourist beach city on the
Gulf of Mexico in the beautiful state of Florida.
I am married to my husband since 1988.
We live on the Emerald Coast of Northwest Florida.
I am a Sunday School teacher for ages 2-12.
I have a sister whom I am helping to promote her books.
She lost her sight, but not her vision, to be able to
encourage others to trust in God in the midst of their
disabilities. She also has a daughter who became
disabled after being on an E C M O machine too long.
I have a story about my niece I had written in "Praise Him in the Dance" book called “The Elijah Showdown.” I also contributed the story to my sister's book, "Lights As Mothers' Paths Shine."
Deneise's story:
Deneise has two daughters. The older daughter has special needs and the younger daughter is very ambitious.
She lives with her husband and one of daughters in Northwest Florida.
Deneise also has her own special needs. She's had problems with her eyes for several decades. She is now legally blind. She is married to a wonderful man.
Deneise quotes, " I rely on God's faith to get me through each day.
In Jesus Name, Amen"
